| Top 2 crews advance to A/B semi-finals, others to classification races. As
expected, GRE and SUI did advance to the A/B semi-finals without much trouble, but not in
the order predicted. SUI spotted GRE a lead for 1500 meters, closing steadily on GRE in
the middle 1000 meters. In the last 500, SUI was too much for GRE and SUI won with GRE in
2nd place to move on together to the A/B semi-finals.
