As indicated on the prediction race bulletin below which is based on semi-finals
times, 5 boats are expected to be within 2 seconds of each other at the finish line. The
DEN World Champions are recovering their World Championship form with every race as they
recover from this year's loss to injury of Thomas Poulsen, a 5 time gold medalist. DEN,
AUS, FRA and ITA finished 1-2-3-4 at the 1999 Worlds. There is no way to predict the
outcome in this one. AUS seems capable of moving out to a clear lead in the 3rd 500,
leaving the others bunched up, but then the bunch comes screaming back on AUS in the last
500 according to semi-finals splits. Should have a real good one here.LANE CREW RELATIVE POSITIONS ELAPSED SPLIT
