2007 World Championships

September 1 - 2, 2007

Munich Oberschleissheim, Germany

Worldrowers.com has generated its usual graphic race reports for the "A" Finals for each of the 14 Olympic class events at the 2007 World Rowing Championships based on the reported interval and finishing times of each crew. The 2007 World Championships were held on the 1972 Olympic race course at Munich Oberschleissheim, Germany. The 14 "A" finals in the Olympic Class events were held on Saturday and Sunday, September 1 - 2, 2007. The W1X, M1X, W2-, M2-, W2X, M2X and M4- finals were held in that order on Saturday. The LW2X, LM2X, LM4-, W4X, M4X, W8+ and M8+ finals were held in that order on Sunday. All of these crews by reaching the "A" finals in these events qualified their countries' entries in those events for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Saturday was a cool, cloudy day with slight tailwind conditions. Sunday's conditions brought flat water with barely a breath of wind, and occasionally a puff of a tail breeze.

About JAMCO Race Bulletins

Color Coding — Real time movements by crews during each 500 meter interval are highlighted by different colors. Gold (yellow) crews are closing on the leader in the current 500. Silver (light blue) crews are closing on the second place crew, but falling further behind the leader. Bronze (orange) crews are closing on the third place crew, but falling further behind the leader and the second place crews. White crews are falling further behind all three leading crews. Quite often, when a crew turns gold, it takes the lead in the next 500.

Printing Tips — When printing JAMCO race bulletins, you may get better results if you set your browser to print background colors and images.
